We specialize in residential, retail, and hospitality environments. Collaborating with home owners, architects, developers, contractors and trades allows us to achieve a seamless integration of design elements and uphold the highest standards of design execution on our projects.
Our curated spaces are uniquely developed with an aesthetic balance and unity while providing utmost functionality. We conceptualize vision for the space and provide a framework to support the construction process. We have an established design hierarchy and a fully refined process that includes concept development, space planning, 2D and 3D visualization, budget planning, material, lighting, appliances and fixture selections, specifications and drawings to assist with construction. We additionally provide furniture and art selection, decor planning and procurement. When the final touches are made, we provide furniture and complete with artwork and decor installation.
Our full service packages include design, management and project execution from start to finish. We work with you to develop a cohesive design language and fully developed framework to support the construction process.

PJ focuses on creating an artistic narrative and curated environments that capture the essence of our clients. "I love to create unexpected moments that make a space feel inspired, intentional and unique."
With attention to detail, my goal is to honor the purity of each space, while injecting the client's vision, lifestyle and atmosphere into the project. We will establish an aesthetic balance and unity within your project - while providing utmost functionality.
By integrating a mix of spatial warmth, intentional textures and playfulness, our designs provide intentional simplicity and deliberate restraint. PJHD expresses this vision through a range of services from space planning and design, lighting, construction documents and detailing, custom furniture and lighting design and sourcing furniture and home accessories.
As the founder, PJ Hurst brings an artistic and thoughtful approach to the Bend market. PJ has over 13years of experience working on a wide variety of full-scale large commercial and residential architecture and design projects to uniquely smaller scale interiors projects in Oregon, California, throughout the United States and abroad.
While at tammy edmonds DESIGN in Los Angeles, PJ developed a broad range of experience focused on defining interior spaces at a variety of private airports throughout the country and internationally, including a Calibre Award winning project located in San Diego, CA. PJ previously worked at boutique interior design firms focused on high-end and luxury private residences, restaurants and hospital facilities.
PJ holds a BFA, Interior Architectural Design from California State University, Long Beach and gained an extensive business development and marketing background working at one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms, Ernst & Young.
